ABSTRACT: This document presents the view of Telcordia on generic requirements supporting the management of Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) based Broadband networks. Specifically, this document uses the framework models defined in the Telcordia document TA-TSV-001294, Generic Requirements For Element Management Layer (EML) Functionality and Architecture, and ITU Recommendation M.3010 to define ATM management functions at both the Network Management and Element Management level.
