A reverting call is one in which a party-line customer dials the number of another party on the same line. This GR describes the view of Telcordia on generic requirements for Reverting Call Service, which allows a two-, four-, or eight-party line customer to complete a call to another party sharing the same line without the assistance of an operator. The document looks at the user perspective for the service and then presents the feature requirements.
