ABSTRACT: This Technical Reference (TR) states the view of Telcordia on the generic requirements for Transaction Language 1 (TL1) messages for the administration of Network Element/Network System (NE/NS) security. These are baseline generic requirements that can be made more specific for particular NE/NS, its architecture, and environment. The document includes material such as: (1) alarm messages and alarm management, (2) messages related to the management of default security parameters, (3) messages related to security log management, and (4) messages related to querying security status.
