    • New information on impact testing, fire resistance testing, firearms resistance, corrosion resistance, cold and hot start
      analysis, and cabinet integration testing

    • The addition of information on thermal testing of cabinets, including requirements based on inlet temperatures and the use of
      outside air for cooling

    • Definitions of coastal areas, and an updated definition of damage to include a discussion of form, fit, function, and
      aesthetics

    • Clarification on the use of test chemicals used in product analysis

    • An analysis of metal paint finish, and updated paint adhesion requirements

    • Calculations for wind resistance values and for measurement of water using weight that can be used in water resistance testing
