conform with the new Telcordia Technologies document format and GR process, and carries a new issue number and date.
Calling Number Blocking a CLASS feature, allows customers to control the disclosure of information, such as the caller's Directory
Number (DN) or the caller's name, to called parties. This GR provides the view of Telcordia on generic requirements for Calling Number
Blocking for residential and small business customers. The document addresses permanent (default) and temporary (per-call) Calling
Identity Delivery Blocking (CIDB) features, Permanent Presentation Status (PPS) assignment for calling number and calling name, Calling
Number Delivery Blocking (CNDB), Calling Name Delivery Blocking (CNAB), and Calling Identity Delivery and Suppression (CIDS).
